privacy & cookies
How information is handled on the Slowfield Audio website.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This notice covers the Slowfield Audio information website, including its local walkthrough video and educational pages. Sonalune opens as a separate web app; the analytics section below covers both sites. Other app features and external websites may involve additional processing.
when you browse
These pages have no account registration, payment form, newsletter form or advertising pixels added by Slowfield Audio. The frequency guide works in the page and does not send your selection to us. The walkthrough video is delivered as a file from this website, rather than as an embedded YouTube player.
hosting, fonts & technical information
Your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, requested page and browser information to the services that deliver the site. The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Google Fonts provides the typefaces, so visiting a page also requests font files from Google. These providers may process technical information for delivery, security and their own service operations.
For information about their handling of data, including retention and international processing, read the OpenAI privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Slowfield Audio does not set those providers’ log-retention periods.
Cookies & optional analytics — updated 14 September 2026
With your consent, Slowfield Audio and Sonalune use Google Analytics to measure visits, pages viewed, referral sources, device/browser information, engagement, clicks to open the app and listening-session starts. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers. We configure analytics cookies to expire after six months; visits may renew them. We do not send your uploaded audio, file names, saved presets or personal listening settings to analytics. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our tag.
The analytics tag loads only after you accept. Declining leaves the website and audio features available. Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page to withdraw or change consent; withdrawal stops subsequent analytics and removes accessible analytics cookies but does not erase data already collected. Your consent choice is stored locally for six months. The website and app ask separately because they use different domains.
Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy, including processing outside the UK. Analytics retention also depends on the settings of our Google Analytics property. Contact us using the details below for privacy requests. Hosting providers may use essential security technologies; the app also stores presets you choose to save. Other links and services have their own privacy practices.
With analytics consent, Sonalune also records listening-session pauses, resumes, natural completions and use of the end-session button, with the selected session length, sound mode and workspace view. Audio files and saved preset names are not included in these events.
optional website translation
All language versions are hosted directly on this website. Switching languages does not open Google Translate or send your selection to a translation service. For Google Fonts data handling, read the Googleprivacy policy. The language menu does not store your selection. Translations are provided for convenience and may contain errors; English is the original text.
if you contact us
We use the name or handle, contact details and message you choose to provide to respond to your enquiry. Our basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions and running the project. Social messaging providers also process the conversation under their own policies. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to resolve and follow up the enquiry, or to meet any applicable legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Please ask if you want a conversation deleted.
your choices & rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law lets you request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict its use, object to processing, or ask for a portable copy. Contact us below to exercise a right or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
